meet your photographer
I am Rosa—a professional boudoir and portrait photographer based in the Bay Area. I am a proud immigrant, an older daughter, and an empathic artist who has been on a self-healing journey the past few years.
My mission is to represent women of all backgrounds, colors, and sizes. Inviting them to lean into an exhilarating experience that’s all about them by providing a space where they are fully accepted. A space to break away from everyday duties, to create stunning photos of themselves.
HOW IT WORKS
before
We’ll pick a date. You’ll choose your package and pay a 50% non-refundable retainer. Meanwhile, Rosa will share tips + details on how to prepare for your shoot.
during
You’ll meet with your Make Up Artist and play music in the background to help ease any jitters. After your makeup is done, Rosa will gently guide you through poses + be your biggest hype woman the entire time.
after
When finished with shooting, you’ll take a break and pick your photos within an hour. Your beautifully retouched photos will be delivered 2 weeks after your shoot. Any physical products will be delivered within 4-6 weeks.

Our private studio is located in the quiet city of Benicia, CA. It’s about a 40 drive from San Francisco.

If you’re bringing someone to be your hype woman or emotional support, then, yes! You’re welcome to bring one person.
We also kindly ask that any guest be respectful and not interfere with direction or the creative process.

No. However, we will share suggestions on what to bring or where to buy pieces of lingerie. Honestly, tho, most women already have pieces of clothing that’ll work for their shoot. You’d be surprised!

No. Black & white photos are part of my aesthetic. I love b&w photos because they focus on the subject, you, rather than what you’re wearing, etc.
While I LOVE black & white photos, yes, I absolutely deliver color photos.

We know, boudoir photos are intimate and showcase you in a vulnerable manner. Because of this, your privacy, trust and safety after your session is most important to us. So, yes, you have the option to make your images 100% private (they won’t be shared anywhere online/social media), semi private (only show images where your face does not show). Or, you have the option to only grant our studio permission to display selected images on our website, social media, and studio.

Natural + light photo retouching is included. This means we’ll remove acne, stray hairs, even skin tone or tan lines, and minimal skin smoothing.
Our goal is to encourage body positivity. We want you to love the body you live in and the one you see in your photos.
